Race for the Cure 2012

Team Unofficially Here walked in the Komen Race for the Cure on Saturday.  It was chilly, with a little rain, but regardless it was a great walk!

I can't believe how quickly another year has gone by!  My health is still in the Lord's hand of protection.  Some times I feel anxious and fearful, but the Lord is quick to reset my attention on Him and His promises.  We are thankful for each new day and continue to ask for God's protection in our lives.

August Updates

I had my six month appointment this morning with my surgeon and all is well. He reminded me to do my monthly SBE and he would see me in a year! I will have a mammogram in 6 months. It is another milestone for which we are thankful. I still am on a 3 month check with my oncologist and I go once a month for my injection. I am thankful for the Lord's faithfulness in my life in so many ways.

Ultrasound on May 19 results

Glad to report all is normal with my ultrasound. Thanks be to God for continually keeping me in His care. I will have another ultrasound in one year (repeating yearly while on Tamoxifen).

Looking forward to my first 5k run with Dave tomorrow!

Ultrasound on May 19

I will be having an ultrasound on the 19th. This is going to be a once a year appointment while I am taking Tamoxifen. I have been taking it for 16 months and it is now time to have the routine ultrasound. Praying there will not be anything abnormal.

I am feeling great these spring days. I am even planning to do a 5k race with Dave at the end of the month. I will post after the appointment! Thanks for your prayers. God is good and faithful.

Help WHIP Cancer in May

I am hosting a fundraiser with Pampered Chef to benefit the American Cancer Society this month.

Funds raised will go to Breast Cancer Awareness and Research. I am thankful for such organizations that help in the FIGHT against cancer and especially Breast Cancer!

Friday's appointment went well! I got my injection and the doctor checked my neck for any changes. Nothing was to be found. Praising God for His constant peace and provision!
